I offer a signature shortbread recipe from my mother, very practical, quick and tasty. These shortbreads with cinnamon and nuts contain practically no fat, they are tasty and fragrant. Kefir shortcakes can be stored for a long time, they go great with tea, coffee, milk, cocoa, you can give the kids to school to have a snack at a break. In general, I recommend.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 st. Sahara
  • 1 st. kefir or sour milk
  • 1 yolk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 st. walnuts
  • cinnamon
  1. We mix one glass of kefir or sour milk, sugar and one yolk. You can put a whole egg, but then the shortcakes will turn out not so soft.
  2. Add salt, half a teaspoon of soda, which we first extinguish with vinegar. Putting more soda than indicated in the recipe is not necessary, shortcakes are perfect anyway.
  3. Stir, then pour in two tablespoons of sunflower oil.
  4. Add three cups of flour to the resulting mixture. We then still need about half a cup of flour for kneading.
  5. We mix everything well and leave the dough for 45 minutes, for an hour, so that it stands a little.
  6. If desired and if possible, add half a glass of chopped walnuts to the dough. You can quickly chop nuts using an ordinary rolling pin: put the peeled nuts on the table, lightly sprinkle with sugar, then roll the nuts with a rolling pin, and you're done!
  7. We divide the dough with nuts into several parts. Roll each part into a cake about a centimeter thick.
  8. Sprinkle the top of the cake with cinnamon, and then squeeze out our future shortcakes with the help of a mold.
  9. Grease a cold roasting pan with margarine and sprinkle with flour.
  10. Put the shortbreads on the prepared roasting pan.
  11. We put the brazier with shortcakes in a preheated oven. We bake the shortcakes for 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C, then lower the temperature to 160 ° C and bake for another 15 minutes.
  12. The total baking time is approximately 25 minutes. Of course, the time may vary depending on the thickness of the dough and the temperature of your oven.
  13. To test the biscuits for readiness, lightly press your finger on the surface of the biscuit. If the cake has regained its shape, then it is ready, and it's time to take it out of the oven.

To make it soak into the dough, you need to walk on it with a rolling pin. Add remaining sugar (about 1/4 cup). After half an hour, we take out the dough, roll it out to a thickness of 1 cm.

Kefir shortbread recipe

This uncomplicated dessert has become a favorite delicacy of more than one generation of Soviet children. They have a unique property to stay fresh for a long time and not get stale. To prepare kefir shortcakes, start by mixing 3 tablespoons of kefir or yogurt with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 egg yolk.

Extinguish half a teaspoon of soda with vinegar and add to the previous components along with a pinch of salt. Stir the resulting mixture well and add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Pour in the oil in small portions, stirring constantly.

Recipe for shortcakes on kefir.

Then, pre-sifted 3 cups of flour, and half a cup of crushed walnuts, pour into a container with mixed liquid ingredients. Place the kneaded dough for 45 minutes in a warm place, covered with a towel.

Next, take the dough and divide it into 3-4 equal parts. Roll out each of them with a 1 cm thick cake. Do this on a pre-floured surface so that the dough does not stick. At this temperature, stand the dough for 10 minutes, then lower it to 150-160 0C and bake for another 10 minutes.

It is recommended to use a match or a toothpick to check the readiness of baking. Pierce several products with them (in different places on the baking sheet), if there is no dough left on them and they are dry, then the pastries are ready and can be removed from the oven. Put the resulting shortcakes on a baking sheet well greased with margarine or butter and put in the oven. In an oven preheated to 170 0C, bake them for 10 minutes.

  • cherry jam - 150 grams;
  • flour - 400 grams;
  • eggs - 2 pieces;
  • kefir - 100 grams;
  • oil - 120 grams;
  • rum - 50 grams;
  • vanillin - 2 grams;
  • soda -20 grams;
  • salt.

It takes about fifty minutes to prepare the cupcakes.

To do this, put the pan on the stove and heat it, but not very much, the fire should be moderate. Bake each piece of dough separately, closing the lid and turning over. Each cake is baked, depending on the size, three minutes on each side.
