Heating boilers for a private house buleryan. Buleryan for air and water heating. Types of coolant for Burelyan

The importance of heating in the cold Russian climate cannot be overestimated. However, district heating is not always available. Therefore, the use of special stoves for heating, for example, a private house, is an effective way to solve the problem of heating. One of the best options here is the Buleryan oven, equipped with a special water circuit.

Principle of operation and efficiency

Buleryan has a high efficiency: from 75 to 80%. In general, it is a cylinder located horizontally. Inside it, the process of combustion of fuel takes place.

Firewood is burned in the primary chamber. Substances that have not been burned before rise to the secondary chamber, which is located in the upper part of Buleryan, and burn down there to ashes. This method of combustion makes it possible to burn the fuel almost completely.

This is one of the factors that ensure the high efficiency of such furnaces. The ash pan is located at the bottom of the combustion chamber, but in some design options, its presence is not provided. This is due to the fact that the degree of fuel burn-up is very high and solid combustion products are almost completely absent.

Around the casing, the combustion chamber, there are rows of pipes. If the furnace uses a water circuit, then water vapor circulates in them. There are other options for such stoves, in which air circulates through them to heat the house.

Water vapor circulates as follows:
in pipes, it heats up and expands under the influence of high temperature. For this reason, it rises up and enters directly into the heating system. In the process of heating residential premises, it gives off its heat and, as a result, cools and contracts.

Let's not forget that as a result of combustion, gaseous wastes are formed. We are talking about carbon dioxide and a small amount of smoke. These products of combustion must be brought out through the chimney.

It joins at the top of it. Note that heat is also removed in this way. In order for it to be used for heating, the chimney is lined with mineral wool or similar material. The use of this heat also contributes to the efficiency of this heating system.

The casing here is usually made two-layer, which reduces the waste of heat during the operation of Buleryan.

The heating process can be divided into 2 main stages:

  1. Kindling. Firewood is thrown into the stove in order to create intense combustion.
  2. Maintaining the fire. At this stage, you need to regularly throw up a small amount of fuel. At this time, the combustion process occurs evenly and with great force. It requires minimal effort to maintain.

When using Buleryan, it can be designed (finished) so that it resembles a stylized Russian stove (or in some similar way).

Advantages and disadvantages

The oven is working. Therefore, when choosing options for affordable heating, it is necessary to take into account the cost of this type of fuel in a given area. Usually in big cities, firewood is expensive and the operation of such heating systems will not be cheap. If we are talking about those places where there is fairly cheap firewood, then Buleryan will be a good choice here.

In operation, such a heating system uses convection and heat exchange, which occur through the cycling of water vapor, which leads to the fact that heating is carried out very efficiently.

Advantages:

  1. Considering that that the circulation of water vapor in this heating system is very dynamic, the room is heated not only quickly enough, but also evenly.
  2. The design features are that with its help it is possible to heat not only a one-story private house, but also a two-story house with the same efficiency.
  3. In progress the boiler does not heat up, and this ensures that oxygen does not burn out in the room where it is located.
  4. Here, two-chamber combustion is implemented. The products of incomplete combustion of firewood enter the secondary chamber and burn out there to ashes. This not only improves fuel efficiency, but also minimizes the formation of solid combustion products.
  5. The door closes hermetically, which eliminates the possibility of sparks during combustion and guarantees safety from fire at the installation site.
  6. Ease of installation process. The main condition for this is that the distance to the nearest wall should not be less than half a meter.
  7. An important feature of such a heating system is that that for its operation there is no need for any external communications.

Flaws:

  1. Fuel purchase costs may be large enough.
  2. When using certain types of wood the chimney pipe may be clogged.
  3. For efficient use of this heating system you need to learn how to use this mode of operation, in which there is a slow burning (smoldering) of the fuel. This is necessary in cases where the stove must burn autonomously (for example, at night).
  4. Without the use of special it cannot be guaranteed that the heating system will not freeze during severe frosts.
  5. Installation of this heating system I is a rather complicated and costly business.

Owner reviews

Sergey, Moscow: We have been using Buleryan for 2 years. At first, pine logs were used as firewood. Then we switched to birch firewood. There was a problem: the pipes were clogged with a porous mass. I had to clean them up. It was not very convenient, because it was winter in full swing.

This winter the situation has changed. We use well-dried and chopped firewood. Pipes are cleaned regularly. There are no problems. Firewood burns faster. At the same time, more heat is produced than before.

Vera, Novosibirsk: I have had Buleryan for 7 years. We are not afraid to leave the stove at night. Only for this you need to transfer to smoldering mode.

Natalia, Sverdlovsk: Buleryan is very convenient for use in a country house. Only in severe frosts, it is necessary to use not pure water for circulation, but a special anti-freeze liquid. However, the installation process itself is quite complex and relatively expensive.

Olga, Sverdlovsk: We have a country house. Its area is approximately 100 square meters. The Buleryan oven works great. The house warms up quickly. We heat this stove with dry wood. I treat the stove with some caution because of its rather high power.

Anna Mikhailovna, Syzran: From my own experience, I can say that the Buleryan stove with a water circuit is an excellent option for those owners who live in a country house all the time. If non-freezing liquid is poured into the pipes, then even in severe frost there will be no problems with this heating system. Unfortunately, the installation of such furnaces is quite expensive.

Cost and rules of operation

The long burning furnace Buleryan PO-100 will cost 9850 rubles. A double combustion chamber is provided here. The warranty period is one month. The volume of the heated room can be up to 100 cubic meters.

The PO-200 model of the Buleryan furnace will cost 14,249 rubles. The main difference from the previous model is that it can heat rooms up to 200 cubic meters.

The Buleryan HV-400 oven will cost 18,449 rubles. It is capable of heating rooms up to 400 cubic meters.

Operating rules:

  1. kindle firewood it is only necessary after you make sure that there is traction and that the dampers are open.
  2. The chimney must be periodically cleaned of ash. E This will ensure trouble-free operation of the oven and ensure the absence of unpleasant odors during operation.
  3. You need to set the burning mode using a regulator.
  4. If you add wood, then you need to make sure that the dampers are open.
  1. This heating system used for those houses where one or two floors. For houses with a higher number of storeys, it is not customary to use it.
  2. Place of installation of the furnace should be covered with metal sheet.
  3. The oven must be no closer than half a meter from the nearest wall.
  4. It is forbidden to heat these stoves with coal. Only firewood can be used.
  5. For the most efficient heat transfer special corrugated pipes can be used.

For quick and uniform heating of the room, you can use the Buleryan stove (Buller, Breneran). Its scope is residential and industrial buildings, greenhouses, shops, warehouses, country houses, cottages. A distinctive feature of this mechanism is that warm air does not accumulate only around it. By opening all interior doors, you will give access to heat in all rooms.

Peculiarities

The Breneran stove was invented by Canadian engineers, who took the drawings of a slow-burning convection-tube boiler as a basis.

Buleryan is a device of domestic production.

Structure

It is an all-welded construction made of steel. On the sides it is surrounded by a large number of pipes. She has a firebox with a wide hermetic door, equipped with a blower, made in the form of a branch pipe with a rotary damper (throttle). It is with its help that the power of the heating device is regulated, the process of release of thermal energy is controlled, the required temperature is set.

The device of some Buleryan models is equipped with a graduated scale and a limiter. If it is necessary to stop the operation of the device or stop the thrust, then the throttle is blocked. Below are the drawings of the furnace.

At the bottom of the furnace there is a steel hearth or a cast-iron grate, at the top of the structure there is a horizontal partition with holes that does not reach the front wall by about ¼ of the length of the furnace device. Air for afterburning is taken from there.

The upper space, isolated by a partition, is the afterburner when operating in the smoldering mode. The gases coming from there go into the horizontal section of the chimney, called "hogs", its length is 0.8-1 m.

The combustion mode in the Breneran stove is switched using a smoke throttle (gate).

Boilers have a chimney with a diameter equal to the size of the blower pipe. A 1/4 part is cut out in the smoke throttle damper. Such a device does not allow traction to stop, the waste will go into the pipe in any case.

An economizer is located above the flue throttle. This is a vertical section of the chimney well insulated with asbestos. It is designed for combustion of flue gases. Having flared up, they try to expand, which contributes to the formation of a gas plug. The combustion process decreases, the cooling plug eventually disappears, and combustion increases.

Thanks to the economizer, this device has an efficiency of 80%, without it - no more than 60%. The operation of the buller without this element is reduced to 2-3 years.

This heating device works as follows: cold air from the floor, entering the nozzles located below, passes through the elements located on the firebox.

When heated, it exits the upper nozzles and evenly heats the structure. In 10-15 minutes after the kindling of the structure, the air in the system heats up to 100-120 °C.

Differences from other types of ovens

Unlike classic heating appliances, Breneran boilers take air for afterburning from the furnace. There are no separate products for secondary air masses. The amount of air automatically changes depending on the type of fuel and the operating mode of the furnace.

The second highlight of the Buleryan stove lies in the design features of its firebox. The batteries of the heat exchanger pipes are made in such a way that by 2/3 they are buried in the curvilinear walls of the furnace. Due to this, up to 70% of the heat released in the furnace space in the smoldering mode is released into the air of the pipe system. 10% of the thermal energy is distributed over the metal body of the device and also heats the air.

Fuel

You can heat the boiler with wood waste or residues from cardboard products, firewood. You can not use coal. Fuel in such a device is consumed slowly and economically. Bookmark it must be carried out no more than 3 times a day.

To quickly warm up the room, it is required to initially put fast-burning fuel, paper or cardboard into the stove. They are kindled, while the throttle and gate must be opened completely, and the firebox door must be closed. The accelerating bookmark should completely burn out in 3-4 minutes. You can control the combustion process through the glass in the door or through the blower.

After burning the bookmarks, large logs, peat briquettes or pellets are laid. The blower throttle is covered to the required position. The gate should be closed ¾, that is, until it stops. Air comes out of the pipes at a temperature of 60-70 °C, the furnace cools down to 50-55 °C.

Advantages and disadvantages

In addition to the fact that these heating boilers provide fast and uniform heating of the house, they also have other positive properties:

  • long service life;
  • high efficiency;
  • profitability;
  • ease of installation.

In addition, you can make a buleryan oven with your own hands.

Such a device needs insulation of external pipes. To accommodate it, you need to allocate a significant space. In such a device, the fuel burns with a minimum residue, as a result of which it smokes, so the pipe has to be brought to a height of more than 3 m from the upper level of the furnace.

Also negative qualities include the appearance of condensate in the chimney and the smell that may appear in the room.

In order for the heating of a private house to be reliable and of high quality, boilers with a water circuit are often used. They are heated by movement in the hot water system. Such a device is a cylindrical body, which consists of 2 levels. The lower one is a furnace structure, its purpose is to ignite the fuel and adjust the temperature. The upper level of the boiler with a water circuit is the gas afterburner.

The purpose of the unit is to heat water in a large volume. It is equipped with special devices that distribute about 10% of the thermal energy for heating, and the remaining percentage for heating the liquid entering the system or storage. Thus, private houses are provided with proper temperature conditions.

A boiler with a water circuit must be filled with distilled water and antifreeze. Then the system will be protected from freezing if the house is not permanently inhabited.
Drawings of a water buller are presented below.

Making your own oven

Making a buleryan oven with your own hands is quite difficult, you need to be an experienced welder.

Tool

To make a boiler, the drawings of which are located below, the following tools and materials are needed:

welding, grinder, scissors for cutting metal, pipe bender, hammer, thick-walled pipes (diameter - 50 mm), metal corner (25 * 25); sheet of metal (thickness - 5 mm).

Training

Check the operation of the apparatus for welding, materials for weldability, practice in the manufacture of seams.

Blueprints

Here are the drawings of the Breneran furnace.

The depicted boiler has low power and can be used in garages, greenhouses, outbuildings. For heating a private dwelling, it is necessary to increase its parameters and the number of pipes by 1.5-2 times.

Manufacturing

You can make the oven yourself by adhering to the following specific sequence of work.

  • Cut the pipes to fit in length, prepare the required number of them, give them the desired shape. They must be completely identical. Pipe ends must be cut at a 90° angle.
  • Make a part from a sheet of metal (see the diagram below), bend it at an angle of 160-170 °.

  • Spot weld pipes. The top of the furnace element is carefully connected along the contour. The main thing at these stages is to observe the symmetry of the structure.
  • Make the details of the furnace body in an amount equal to the number of pipes. Grab the blanks in several places between the pipes.
  • Install the rear element of the furnace, which has a hole for the chimney.

  • Insert the chimney (pipe with a diameter of 100 mm) into the hole, weld it along the contour.
  • Make the front. Weld a door ring into it. Connect everything pointwise along the contour. For the bottom of the structure, use two corners. Check the stability of the device.
  • Make a round door from a thick metal sheet, in the lower part of which a pipe with a damper is placed. The door must be installed on hinges and a locking lock welded to it.
  • Clean seams and sand all surfaces.
  • If you take an old boiler as the basis for the furnace body, then the number of welding operations will decrease. But the proposed version with superimposed metal walls is more attractive in appearance.

The dimensions of the furnace are selected depending on the area of \u200b\u200bthe room. The structure is located at a distance of at least 1.5 m from the wall. It is lifted above the floor (this will increase the traction force and heating rate), placing it on a podium made of non-combustible materials. To avoid fire from falling sparks and coals, a sheet of metal is placed under the firebox. It is better to install the Buleryan stove in separate rooms so as not to accidentally burn yourself.

Various types of installations are currently used for heating residential premises. One of the new types of equipment is a buleryan with a water circuit. If we talk about this equipment in more detail, then it can be described as a structure made of high-quality metal with pipes welded to it.

The main feature of this device is that it not only provides space heating, but also contributes to the emergence of the convection process. The result of this is that different parts of the room are heated evenly.

In appearance, this equipment is a boiler that runs on wood and other wood fuels. Since this installation can only work on wood materials, before purchasing it, you need to think carefully about how profitable it will be to use this equipment for heating in your home. In large cities, firewood is a fairly expensive type of fuel. In order to purchase it in the right quantity, you need to specially go to a store selling such wood material.

Principle of operation

This oven works according to the well-known law of physics. The basic principle is that hot steam tends to rise, while cold vapor descends. Thanks to this, even small-sized furnaces equipped with a water jacket are able to provide heating up to 5 cu. m. of air. In this case, the equipment does not heat up. That is, the burnout of oxygen in the room is excluded.

Buleryan experts refer to the number of stoves that are economical, because by using it in a home, you can reduce fuel costs. This is ensured due to the presence in its design of a special afterburner chamber. It burns all the gas that was formed during the combustion process. The casing acts in the design of such a furnace as a heat exchanger. Inside the casing you can find at least 6 pipes, which are adjacent to the ceiling chamber. This ensures better heat transfer in the water.

The coolant is supplied to the top point of the entire system. Then it goes directly to the radiators, and from them back to the furnace. It is there that the tap is located, through which the coolant is drained. Such a simple principle of operation of this furnace, equipped with a water circuit, provides, in use, a rapid heating of a room of any size without drying out the oxygen.

Features of equipment with a water circuit

A number of undeniable advantages are characteristic of any furnace. Buleryan is no exception. Usage efficiency this equipment largely depends on:

  • in which room it will be installed;
  • what expenses the owner is willing to go.

It should be understood that the prices for such installations are quite high. In addition, during the operation, you also have to bear serious costs.

The main features of Buleryan with water circuit:

  • in the design of the furnace there is a gas afterburner chamber, which is located on top of the combustion chamber;
  • the oven is equipped with hermetically closing doors;
  • the casing with which this equipment is equipped increases the convection of hot air masses;
  • an ash pan is not provided in such furnaces.

Buleryan differs from other types of furnaces in that it has a special arrangement of pipes. Due to this, heat transfer increases when using this equipment. Cold air enters the lowest pipe. When it is heated to a certain temperature, it spreads throughout the room.

It should be noted that, unlike other types of equipment for space heating, working on wood, the design of the buleryan is thought out in detail. In the combustion chamber, during the operation of the furnace, not only firewood is burned, but also combustion products. Therefore, in order to create a comfortable temperature in the room, the owner can use natural fuel to a minimum.

Furnace installation

The task of installing this equipment is not too difficult. Available materials are needed for installation work, and the methods used for installation do not present great difficulties even for beginners. Before starting installation, you should choose a seat where the oven will be located. It should be noted that its installation can be carried out at any point in the structure. The only requirement that must be observed is that the equipment must be located at a distance of 50 cm from the wall.

When the installation of the furnace is completed, it must be connected to the heating system. When performing installation work, experts advise using pipes with a layer of reinforcement. The use of such products eliminates their deformation when exposed to high temperatures. In addition, they are best suited for such a heating system.

When the installation of elements of the heating system is completed, a procedure such as crimping. Then the entire system is filled with water. After that, the furnace can be started, and then you should observe its operation. If no errors were made during installation, the equipment will work properly without causing problems to the owner.

But even when using such equipment in the house, one should not forget about safety. To do this, the wall near which the furnace will be installed should be treated with fireproof material. It is applied to the wall surface above the top point of the furnace by 1 m.

Buleryan efficiency in comparison with gas heating

Before buying any heating equipment, you need to make sure that it will be beneficial for the potential owner. The stores currently offer a large number of boilers, which have a great design but are quite expensive to operate. Therefore, it is necessary to find such an installation model that has an aesthetic appearance, is inexpensive, and does not require large cash costs from the owner during operation.

Positive characteristics

It is with the advantages that the popularity of this furnace is associated, so a potential buyer should first of all familiarize themselves with them.

  • The use of Buleryan furnaces provides fast and even heating large premises. If the installation is equipped with a water circuit, then the generated thermal energy is easily transported even to rooms located on the second and third floors.
  • This model is small.
  • After installation, the owner is provided with ease of use. The installation process is not very difficult. However, a chimney device is necessary, for which it is better to invite a professional stove-maker.
  • If we compare this furnace with traditional ones, then during operation it consumes less fuel. One full load will be enough for 12 hours of plant operation.

Such advantages that these stoves have, many owners of private houses will certainly be pushed to purchase buleryan. However, these installations are not without drawbacks, which you need to inquire about even before going to the store.

When using this furnace, it is only possible to load into the combustion chamber low moisture wood. It is advisable to use those tree species that do not form resins during combustion.

During operation, the resulting generator gases in such models are not fully used. In the combustion chamber, their combustion occurs in a volume of less than 70%, so such a furnace cannot be called perfect. Performing work on the construction of the chimney, special attention must be paid to the insulation of the pipe. If this is not done, then during the operation of the equipment condensate will occur, which will reduce the efficiency of the buleryan.

In most cases, these stoves made from metal. Therefore, a suitable protection should be placed a meter from the installation. If the location of the boiler is the corner at the junction of two walls, then you need to think about protecting them. They cannot be placed close to the walls. This is a big problem for small spaces. 20 cm is the maximum allowable distance from these units to the wall.

If you want to save space and place the stove as close to the wall as possible, you will have to cover them with long metal sheets that exceed the height of the stove. It is advisable to install basalt insulation between the wall and the sheet. When this is done, the metal screen will perform two functions at once - to protect the system from heating and act as an additional source of heat.

There is one more thing to be aware of. It concerns the design features of the furnace. When operating the installation in pipe holes dust will fall. During the operation of the furnace, a high temperature arises, which burns out everything in its path. When using buleryan, an unpleasant odor may occur. In addition, positively charged ions appear in the air near the furnace. They well attract particles of dirt that are inside the human body. If cold viruses predominate in the room, then the risk of illness for healthy people is high. Therefore, in order to avoid this, it is necessary to regularly ventilate the room, as well as perform wet cleaning 2 times a day.

Conclusion

Various heating systems can be used to heat a room. Recently, buleryan with a water circuit has been gaining popularity. In appearance, this boiler has its own features of operation and installation. Before purchasing it as the main component of your heating system, you need to familiarize yourself with its advantages and disadvantages.

It should be understood whether it will be beneficial to use this installation in your home. After the acquisition, you need to think about high-quality installation. If you doubt that you can correctly install this furnace and correctly connect it to the water circuit, then in this case it is best to resort to the help of specialists.

Air heating using convection ovens has one significant drawback. The efficiency of heating largely determines the configuration of the room. The presence of interior partitions and other obstacles in the way of convection flows significantly worsens the uniformity of heating. To heat rooms located on another floor, you have to connect air ducts and run them throughout the house, which is not always convenient and requires serious additional costs.

The Buleryan stove with a water circuit is the optimal solution for heating a multi-storey residential building with several rooms. The unit is connected to an existing heating system. Heat begins to flow into the rooms almost immediately after kindling.

The principle of operation of the furnace Breneran Aquaten

Heating boilers Buleryan (Breneran) with a water circuit, in their design, are not much different from traditional equipment using the principle of air convection. The design provides for pipes surrounding the combustion chamber. The principle of gas generation or pyrolysis is used. The main difference is that instead of air, a liquid coolant circulates through the pipes.

Breneran long-burning boilers with a water circuit operate as follows:

  1. A special collector is mounted on the convection pipes from above and below.
  2. On the lower manifold there is a return outlet, on the upper one for supplying the coolant.
  3. During the combustion, the coolant heats up, which creates pressure in the heating system, which allows for natural circulation, as well as the rise of the liquid to a height of 8 m. The coolant flows through the pipes to the heating devices located in the rooms.
  4. After cooling, the coolant returns back to the boiler to the pipes connected to the lower pressure manifold.
At the same time, Buleryan water boilers use the principle of gas generation or pyrolysis, which makes it possible to use the gas produced during the combustion of solid fuels. There are two combustion chambers in the design. In one, wood is burned, in the second, afterburning of gases.

After heating the combustion chamber to the required temperature, the boiler is switched to the gas generation mode. During gas generation, the fuel does not burn, but literally smolders, which increases autonomous operation from one tab, while maintaining the heat transfer coefficient at the level of conventional wood combustion.

Canadian furnaces "potbelly stoves" of long burning Breneran, were developed to work on wood. It is allowed to use peat and wood briquettes, as well as wood waste, but at the same time, energy efficiency and heat transfer indicators fall somewhat.

Types of stoves Aqua Breneran

The plant manufacturer of boilers Aquaten Breneran, CJSC Laoterm, has developed and produced several basic modifications of gas-generating furnaces with a water circuit. The advantage of the models is high efficiency, the presence of an electric heater, which allows you to continue heating the room after all the solid fuel has burned out.

If necessary, the stove is understaffed with an indirect heating boiler that provides the required amount of hot water.

The model range of Russian-made solid fuel gas-generating furnaces Breneran Aquaten is represented by the following modifications:

When choosing a long-burning wood-burning heating stove with a Breneran Aquaten water circuit, pay attention to its performance. The technical documentation indicates the volume of the coolant and the actual heated area.

How much is Breneran Aquaten

The cost of the Breneran Aquaten stove is slightly higher than that of models that do not have a water jacket and depends on the type of model and its power.
  • AOTV 06 - will cost 16,200 rubles.
  • AOTV 11 - for this model you will have to pay 23,800 rubles.
  • AOTV 14 - the cost will be 27,400 rubles.
  • AOTV 16 and 19 - for semi-industrial models you will have to pay 45 and 55 thousand rubles. respectively.
The total cost for long-burning solid fuel pyrolysis boilers Breneran Aquaten is calculated depending on the required additional equipment. Additionally, payment for installation work, connection to the heating system, etc. is taken into account.

Advantages of water heating from Breneran

Breneran gas-generating furnaces have several significant advantages over analogues using the principle of air heating.
  • Rooms are heated by standard heating radiators and not by air circulation. Therefore, the models are suitable for heating one- and two-story individual residential buildings, moreover, there is no need for additional equipment in the form of air ducts.
  • Installation in a house without a basement is allowed. With proper installation and regular maintenance of the stove, there is no chance of smoke entering the room.
  • The Breneran Aquaten stove is welded from steel, 2-3 mm thick for the outer casing, 5 mm for the combustion chamber. In the manufacture of heat-resistant alloys are used, which significantly increases the life of the device.
  • Possibility of connection to the heating system of almost any type. The main thing is to correctly select and calculate the performance of the furnace. Breneran feels equally good when connected to a heating system with natural and forced circulation.
  • Easy installation. It makes sense to install a modification of the Breneran furnace with the connection of a water heating system, if there is no desire and opportunity to connect gas heating. The Aquaten model provides maximum ease of use. If necessary, it can work in anti-freeze mode. Electric heater will heat the coolant to the required temperature.

Disadvantages of water boilers Breneran

Of course, there are drawbacks to the Breneran Aquaten boilers, but since they are insignificant and inferior to the advantages, almost nothing is reported about them either on construction forums or on other sites. But judging by the few comments that we managed to find, the furnace problems are as follows:
  • It will not work to use the Breneran Aquaten model without water. The design is provided exclusively for liquid cooling.
  • Aquaten has inherent disadvantages of all gas generator models. The characteristics and performance are affected by the quality of the fuel, errors in the installation of the chimney pipe.
If the installation is carried out in accordance with all the recommendations of the manufacturer, the operation of the stove will be practically trouble-free.

Features and installation methods Breneran Aquaten

As already noted, the design of the stove allows you to use any options for connecting water heating. It is allowed to operate the device in systems with forced and natural circulation of the coolant.

When carrying out installation work, the PPB standards regarding the installation of the furnace and the connection of the smoke exhaust system, the features of closed and open systems are taken into account. The performance and heat transfer is affected by the type of boiler piping and the heat carrier used.

fire safety requirements

The manufacturer ZAO Laoterm received a fire safety certificate for the Aqua Breneran furnace with a water circuit. This indicates that the boiler is protected from accidental ignition, and if used correctly, the likelihood of a fire is minimized.

Installation in a residential area is carried out taking into account the existing PPB rules for TT boilers:

  1. The furnace is mounted on a solid non-combustible base. For models AOTV 14, 16 and 19, a concrete base is required.
  2. On the side of the firebox, the floor is covered with a sheet of steel, at least 1.25 m in length.
  3. The distance to the plastered walls is at least 1 m, with additional insulation 0.8 m.
  4. The dimensions of the room for installing the furnace are at least 12 m².
  5. The boiler room must have a ventilation duct and good natural air ventilation.
  6. Automata to turn off the heating element and circulation equipment are installed in adjacent rooms.

The presence of a safety group for the solid fuel pyrolysis boiler Breneran Aquaten (including a safety, air valve, pressure gauge, expansion membrane tank) is mandatory. Commissioning, in the absence of safety fittings, is prohibited.

Installing a smoke exhaust system

The rules for installing a chimney are described in detail in. According to the norms, the height and diameter are calculated depending on the performance of the furnace. During the installation of the chimney, the manufacturer's recommendations are closely followed:
  • Distances to structural nodes, beams and rafters are calculated depending on the material of the chimney. For a brick and ceramic chimney with insulation, a fire gap of at least 13 cm, without insulation 25 cm.
  • The height of the chimney should be from 5 to 9 m, depending on the stove model.
  • A deflector is installed on the chimney head to improve traction characteristics.

Detailed information regarding pipe selection and PPB standards is located in.

Connection to a natural circulation system

The heating system with natural circulation of the coolant is the most popular, due to the ease of installation and the absence of a large number of additional components. There are several rules associated with installation:
  • The oven is located at least 0.5 m below the radiators.
  • The pipes are placed at an angle - the slope is made towards the circulation of the coolant.
  • An open expansion tank is mounted at the highest point of the heating system. The capacity of the tank is chosen depending on the total volume of the coolant, in a proportion of 10%. The correct installation of an open-type expansion tank is carried out on the return line of the heating system. If the container is installed in an unheated attic, the thermal insulation of the device must be carried out.
  • A safety group is mounted on the coolant supply.

Strict requirements are imposed on the distribution of pipes of a heating system with natural circulation, regarding compliance with the angles of inclination.

Connection to a forced circulation system

The main difference from the previous version is that a closed-type heating system needs a circulation pump. Forced circulation of the coolant has many advantages, consisting in better heat transfer, efficiency and speed of heating. The only drawback is the dependence on electricity.

Installation of a heating system with forced circulation is carried out in accordance with the following recommendations:

  • The circulation pump is installed on the return flow of the coolant, between the expansion tank and the boiler. It is recommended to install a temperature sensor to regulate the operation of the boiler, depending on the intensity of heating and the pressure created in a closed system.
  • The connection is made with a closed-type expansion tank. Air does not enter the heating system, which has a positive effect on the duration of operation of pipes, radiators and the boiler itself.
  • For uninterrupted operation of the pump, you will need to install a UPS with a built-in voltage regulator.

The maximum pressure in a closed heating system is not higher than 7 atm. Large indicators lead to a rupture of the water circuits located on the furnace. To prevent damage, be sure to install a security group.

What pipes are best for tying

Piping the boiler affects the further operation, performance and other characteristics of the heating system. The choice of material should be approached consciously. Below are the three most popular options:
  • Tying the heating system with steel pipes- as advantages, resistance to overheating, low linear expansion, strength and high thermal conductivity can be distinguished. The disadvantages include the complexity of installation, the need for welding.
Installation is best done before repairing the premises, so as not to spoil the finish. Another disadvantage can be considered that the diameter of the water circuit pipe will be much larger than that of polypropylene or metal-plastic, respectively, a larger furnace will be required for heating.
  • Polypropylene heating pipes- the material has many advantages: light weight, long service life, resistance to heat, attractive appearance, smooth inner surface.
The laying of heating pipes around the house can be done independently. This will require a soldering iron and a few construction tools.
  • Metal-plastic pipes- Another version of the material intended for the heating system.
The advantage of metal-plastic is: quick installation, non-corrosion, high temperature stability, plasticity. The disadvantages are the susceptibility of the pipe to "breaking".
Metal-plastic pipes are used for the installation of heating systems with forced circulation of the coolant. Approved for industrial use.
You can make heating using copper, stainless and other pipes. But, as practice shows, the options listed above are the most popular.

What coolant is better to fill in Breneran and the system

As a heat carrier, ordinary and distilled water, antifreeze are used. Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages:

It is quite easy to independently calculate the volume of the coolant - for calculations you will need to know the power of the furnace, the number and volume of radiators.

There are many ways to heat a private house: air, water, convection. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. One of the heating devices for the air system is the so-called buleryan. This heating unit is a hybrid of a potbelly stove and a long-burning stove. Because of this, Buleryan is able to work like a potbelly stove, that is, quickly heat up the room and maintain this temperature for a long time on one tab of firewood. The general view of the buleryan is shown in the figure below.

Buleryan with a water circuit in the interior of the house

Structure

Buleryan device diagram for home heating

As can be seen from the figure, the buleryan is a structure of several curved pipes (usually more than six) (1), welded in such a way that a combustion chamber (2) and (6) is formed inside. To separate the combustion chamber into two zones, a special partition is welded into the structure. Firewood burns first in the primary chamber (6), and then burns out in the secondary chamber (2), while ensuring maximum efficiency. Air is constantly circulated through the pipes from the bottom up, ensuring optimal heat transfer in the room. Wood and briquettes are mainly used as fuel for the stove. For laying firewood and sampling ash, there is a door (11) on the front wall of the stove, which, thanks to the seals and the special design of the lock (10), is able to close hermetically. A blower (8) is welded to the door to regulate the air supply to the primary chamber. To supply air to the secondary chamber, there are injectors (14) on the pipes. Ash collection takes place in the ash pan (7). To regulate the combustion process, there are draft regulators (9) on the door and on the exhaust pipe located on the rear wall.

For normal operation of the buleryan and less accumulation of soot in the chimney, it must be insulated.

Advantages and disadvantages

Such a heating stove as Buleryan has a number of advantages:

  1. Rapid heating of the room, which is ensured by the special design of the product.
  2. High efficiency - more than 80%. This is ensured by the presence of two fuel combustion chambers and a special sealed design of the furnace.
  3. Possibility of work in the mode of long burning. From one bookmark of firewood, Buleryan is able to work up to 12 hours, which simplifies the process of maintenance and care.
  4. Inexpensive stove.

The disadvantages of Buleryan include:

  1. Use for heating only firewood and briquettes. The use of coal is unacceptable in these furnaces.
  2. Heating occurs only in one room - the one where this stove is located. To eliminate this shortcoming, a buleryan design with a water circuit was developed.
  3. Unsightly appearance, which is why in most cases such a buleryan is installed in utility rooms.

This type of buleryan differs from the traditional one in that a water jacket is created from the buleryan pipes, and not air, but water, begins to circulate through them, similar to the operation of a heating boiler. Such a buleryan is shown in the figure below.

As can be seen from the figure, the upper and lower ends of the pipes are welded together, and a branch pipe of the supply pipeline is welded to the upper combs, and a return pipeline is welded to the lower combs.

The walls of the buleryan get very hot during operation, so you need to be as careful as possible near it to avoid burns. For the same reason, the minimum distance to walls and nearby objects during installation must be at least 0.5 meters.

Buleryan with a water circuit: advantages and disadvantages

Compared to the usual one, buleryan with a water circuit has a number of advantages:

  1. Possibility of connection to the existing aquatic heating system of the house, thereby providing heating throughout the house, and not just in one room.
  2. Rapid heating of the coolant and then maintaining the required temperature in the room for 6 hours from one bookmark.
  3. Low cost compared to traditional water heating boilers.

But this design also has a disadvantage.– work only with gravity water heating system.

The option of binding Buleryan to the heating system is shown in the figure below.

The figure clearly shows that the water first rises up the riser to the expansion tank and only then goes to the radiators.

DIY manufacturing

Although the price of buleryan is not so high, you can still save a decent amount by making it at home with your own hands. It does not require any great level of skill or sophisticated equipment. It is enough to have a turbine, a welding machine and a pipe bender. From the materials you need a pipe with a diameter of 50 mm and sheet metal 5 mm thick.

About everything in order. To begin with, the pipe is cut into pieces 1.2 m long and bent with a pipe bender to a radius of 225 mm. Straight sections 265 mm long are left along the edges. A drawing of such a buleryan for making with your own hands is shown in the figure below.

Buleryan drawing for making your own hands

After the pipes are prepared, they must be welded as shown in the figure. In this case, it is necessary to make the seams airtight.

As can be seen from the figure, in the first pair of pipes from the furnace door, tubes of smaller diameter are welded to supply air to the secondary chamber. When converting the air circuit to a water circuit, it is necessary either not to connect these pipes to the aqua circuit or to provide air flow in another way.

After the pipe structure is welded, it is necessary to fill the voids between the pipes with strips of metal 5 mm thick and 5 cm wide. Then a partition is made of sheet metal in order to separate the upper chamber from the lower one. After that, the front and rear walls are made according to the drawing.

All seams on the product must be sealed in order to prevent the release of carbon monoxide from the buleryan. After the front and rear walls are made, according to the drawings, it is necessary to manufacture and weld the doors on the front wall. The main condition in the manufacture of doors is that they must be hermetically closed in order to ensure the optimal operation of the buleryan. To do this, a seal of asbestos cord is arranged around the perimeter of the door and a shutter of a special design is made. The design of such a shutter is shown in the figure below.

Buleryan door shutter

After everything is mounted, the aqua circuit device begins. To do this, connect the lower and upper outlets of the pipes into two combs.

Conducting a test

Upon completion of work on the manufacture of the furnace, a leak test is carried out. To do this, one branch pipe of the water jacket is jammed, and water is poured into the other under pressure, which is controlled using a pressure gauge. If the product can withstand a pressure of more than 3 atmospheres, it can be safely operated.

For the operation of a do-it-yourself buleryan with an aqua circuit, the same requirements apply as for the operation of a water boiler.

Keep in mind that the feed riser is heated to 90°C, so care must be taken when operating the oven to avoid burns.

Buleryan can work in two modes:

  1. Quick warm up. In this mode of operation, the fuel burns as quickly as possible, warming up the room. After that, the buleryan is extinguished and kindled only when the temperature in the room drops. At the same time, the fuel for the operation of the furnace is consumed sparingly, but the temperature in the room is not kept at a constant level, but constantly rises and falls.
  2. Long burning. In this mode, the furnace is loaded to the maximum, and the boiler operates in the mode of maintaining a constant temperature in the room. This mode is good in that a constant temperature is kept in the room, but at the same time there is a slight overspending of fuel.
  3. classmates
