Burned wreaths on the mother's grave from the candle. Signs in the cemetery: how not to incur trouble? Signs at funerals and cemeteries

What is the correct way to visit a cemetery? A question that worries many relatives of deceased people.

It turns out that in the old days there were beliefs that our great-grandmothers adhered to.

Traditionally, many superstitions are associated with cemeteries, which, by the way, are not groundless. Signs on the graveyard can warn of an impending danger, therefore, burials should be visited with the utmost care. And the signs seen at the resting places should be treated carefully.
First of all, you need to remember - in no case should you disturb the dead, this will entail trouble. You shouldn't come to them empty-handed either, bring sweets that you will leave on the grave.

In order not to "pick up" misfortunes and troubles from the cemetery into the house, psychics advise to adhere to simple rules of behavior.

Alexander Zhukov, psychic: “The very first thing is that you need to enter the cemetery correctly, so as not to leave your luck and happiness there, and most importantly, to" catch "various diseases.
It is imperative to enter the cemetery with open hands., if you are carrying a bag, you cannot clamp it in the palm of your hand. Hang over the arm so that all fingers and hands are exposed.
This is done in order not to bring anything with you, namely the good that is in your life today. "

At the same time, one should not forget about what can and cannot be said at resting places. You can share your experiences with deceased relatives, but not complain, but rather share. but words should not cause envy or excessive pity: in one, and in another case, the victims can "take" you to their place.
Remember to afford you can only be open with a relative whom you trusted during your lifetime and with whom they were close.

There is such a sign: Whatever good you say at the grave, it will remain on it. A phrase like: "I feel so bad, I want to die ..." - can become fatal. The cemetery spirits might interpret this as a call to action.

In addition, do not forget that not everyone can talk with the dead, as well as come to the cemetery.

Alexander Zhukov, psychic: “I'll tell you right away - pregnant women are not allowed in the cemetery! Not for the funeral, not for the parent's day. Generally not. According to the signs, the following events may occur:

The souls of the dead will take the soul of the unborn baby with them;
... someone else's soul can settle in an unborn child.

This sign has been preserved for a long time and was associated with high infant mortality and the danger of difficult childbirth in pregnant women. Now this sign is not so relevant, so treat it wisely.
If a pregnant woman needs to say goodbye to the deceased, or visit the graves of relatives at the call of her heart, then she should wear something red, tie her hand with red thread, or keep a piece of red cloth in her pocket.

And by no means children under 12 cannot be brought to the cemetery... This is very dangerous for the health of the child and his future. You can completely change the fate of a child ”! From a mystical point of view, the aura of children is very weak, and it is difficult for children to protect themselves from the penetration of negative energy.

It is forbidden coming to the funeral to say goodbye to one person, visit at the same time the graves of other people resting nearby.

Violation of at least one of the rules can lead to the attraction of a large amount of negative information, which, like a weight, will pull you to the ground.

Cemetery visit for commemoration

Undoubtedly, to pay the last debt to the deceased and honor his memory by being present at the burial is an indicator of the moral and ethical norms prescribed by society.

The cemetery is a special place. The world of the living and the world of the dead "unite" on it... Therefore, it is necessary to treat him with respect and observe certain signs and rules of behavior so as not to anger the dead and not pay for your disrespect.

❧ You need to carefully prepare for visiting the cemetery, paying special attention to your clothes. The traditional colors are white and black. Most of all black is suitable for a cemetery, since it is considered mourning, a color symbolizing sorrow. If your wardrobe does not have items of suitable colors, you should choose clothes in muted tones.

❧ Legs must be covered. It is unacceptable to walk in the cemetery in open sandals or high-heeled shoes. A graveyard is a place of accumulation of "dead" energy, the earth is especially strongly saturated with it. There is a saying: the dead pulls the living. It can be regarded as a warning - cemetery land, getting on bare skin, negatively affects a person. First of all, the negative impact affects his health.

❧ At the cemetery before noon, in the afternoon at the church... It is better to visit deceased relatives before lunch, otherwise the spirits can play a trick on those who came in the afternoon.

❧ You can't swear in the cemetery - all the swearing will remain on you... This is really true. All the bad things that are said in the cemetery fall on the shoulders of the one who spoke out. There can't even be other options here. In a cemetery, you need to be especially careful in both statements and deeds. In general, being in a cemetery, you need to be very careful. Attentiveness and politeness are qualities that the departed greatly value. This is the very case when the thought that life does not end after death has a special meaning. Therefore, it is necessary to show respect for those who have already left, otherwise they may punish.

❧ If you bring a beautiful bouquet - this is great, just do not neglect the recommendation to bring an even number of colors.
Throwing out wilted flowers, you should replace them with new ones and explain to the deceased why this is being done.

❧ If, when planting flowers, digging at the grave some strange things came to light, foreign objects, you need to take them out of the cemetery and throw them away. Ideally, burn, being careful not to get caught in the smoke.
The things that are on the graves could have been left by sorcerers who cause damage. Taking such an object, a person takes part of the damage on himself.

❧ A week after Easter, it is customary to come to the cemetery to commemorate relatives and friends. Eating in the cemetery, or, which is very common among the Slavs, drinking strong (alcoholic) drinks is also prohibited.
Negative energy accumulates in the cemetery, this place does not dispose to fun, people come here with grief. Food absorbs all of this, and after eating you can feel unhealthy.
The Christian church also insists on not having a commemoration at the cemetery. Trizna in the cemetery came from pagan times, when after burial, funeral rites were performed on the mounds. Christianity does not support the tradition of paganism. Although controversy about this custom is still conducted by theorists of the church.
It is better to distribute alms to the poor and visit the temple, order a memorial service for the deceased - this way of honoring the dead is more acceptable and spiritually useful.

❧ If you still adhere to the tradition of commemorating the deceased with a glass of vodka at the grave, then remember only good things about them and drink without clinking glasses, so as not to transfer trouble from one house to another.

Signs in the cemetery

There are many signs about a cemetery. Even people who are deeply indifferent to superstitions try to adhere to them. This is such a place. No one knows what the world of the dead can bring, so it is better to pay attention to the signs.

❧ Grave Defilers, cemetery thieves, will face a sad fate, for they are pursued by an evil fate.

❧ Stumble across the graveyard- not good. It’s even worse to fall. Signs are advised to immediately leave the cemetery, wash with holy water, cross and read the prayer "Our Father" three times.
Believe me, it doesn't matter to your soul where you remember her - in a cemetery or in a temple, or in a conversation with your family. The main thing is that you are sincere and that these memories have a bright, kind shade.

❧ As already mentioned, there is a superstition that in the cemetery you can not talk about the successes and achievements of your life and not to leave everything here.

❧ Also not allowed to count money in the cemetery otherwise you might not see them again. If a bill was taken out of a wallet, or it, in general, fell to the ground, it must be left on the grave of a relative or namesake in order to buy off possible poverty and premature death.

❧ Basically, any thing that falls on the cemetery ground no longer belongs to its living owner. It should not be lifted. If the thing is really necessary, you need to leave the mercy of the deceased and the owner of the cemetery - a bottle of vodka and sweets.

❧ From the cemetery by no means no things can be brought home(this does not apply to sweets that children collect, since they remember all the dead with them). This will harm the person who took the things and the people who used them.
Do not take anything from the cemetery or bring it into the house, no matter how valuable it is. According to signs, you will take it away from the dead, and they will punish you with troubles and diseases.
This thing can harm not only the person who brought this thing home from the cemetery, but also any other person who picks it up.

Important! Handkerchiefs with tears are also thrown during the funeral, burying the grave; they cannot be taken out of the cemetery!

❧ Do not take pictures in the cemetery; you will remain surrounded by negative energy in the picture, and who knows how this will affect your destiny.
Taking pictures against the background of many graves, you capture the invisible world of the spirits of the departed and otherworldly entities, which later will easily find their way to your home.

Broken headstone sign

❧ A monument or a cross fell for no reason, which means that the soul of the deceased has not completed the important matters for her, something is bothering her.

There are also forgotten, outdated signs, which are believed only in the outback, in villages, where modern customs have not yet reached. So, a sign of a broken tombstone a priori cannot promise anything pleasant and kind. If the monument deteriorated without human intervention, and did not suffer at the hands of vandals and marauders, then there will be another deceased in the family of the deceased in the near future.

It doesn't matter what damage the burial site received: whether the cross just broke, the tombstone or the pedestal itself cracked, or the earth sank and a deep hole formed - each change threatens the relatives of the person lying here with another death. You can understand to whom the old woman with a scythe will look next time, having determined from which side the earth has collapsed:

  • from the southern side - a man will die;
  • the north side "fell" - a woman will die;
  • the eastern edge has subsided - an elderly family member will die;
  • from the western side the earth is gone - death will take a small child.

❧ Suicides can be remembered only when the bird pecks the grain scattered on their graves... A few wheat grains are poured onto the grave of the suicide and they look from afar: if the bird does not peck those grains, then there is no need to commemorate the deceased, except for Saturdays to Dmitriev and All Saints.

❧ If you know you will visit a cemetery, take water with you, and when leaving, be sure to wash your hands and face, to remove negative energy.

❧ You should not drink water that flows in the plumbing system located in the cemetery. It is used only for cleaning graves and monuments. Water for drinking should be stocked at home, before visiting the cemetery.

❧ Make sure you leave so that you don't forget anything in the cemetery, forgotten things are spoiled.

❧ Always leave the cemetery the way you came. But when visiting the deceased, it is better to choose different roads, at least bypass your own street and go to the house from the other side.

❧ Leaving the cemetery, you cannot look back, even if you are called or called. It is believed that the dead souls wander among the graves and do not realize that they no longer have a place in the world of the living. When a person turns around, a departed soul can perceive this as an invitation to go after a living person. As a result, a visitor to the churchyard will bring a deceased person to his house, who can cause a lot of trouble to the inhabitants of the house.

❧ Also, signs say that after visiting the cemetery it is important to dry your feet thoroughly, so as not to bring home the cemetery land. This land can cause a lot of health problems, it carries bad energy.

❧ After leaving the cemetery and coming home, it is important to properly warm your hands (even if you are not cold)- hold in hot water, over fire.
It is best to light a church candle with matches (only with them) and warm your hands over it. Bring the palms of your hands as close over the candle fire as you can tolerate. Move and "burn" in this way the entire area of the palms and fingers.
After that, the candle can not be blown out, gently extinguish it with your fingers. This is done in order not to bring death into the house, not to drag it over, not to get sick.

❧ From the funeral you can not call in to anyone- bring death to the house of the person you visited. But it is advisable to wrap up somewhere in a public place before returning home. It is believed that the tradition of commemoration in a cafeteria or cafe is a consequence of this sign.

Cat in the cemetery

It has long been known that the dead are able to transmit information through various animals: birds, cats, dogs. No wonder birds in the old days were considered the embodiment of souls that had lost their human bodies. But the birds flying over the graveyard or the house where the deceased lies are not as dangerous as the cat, which, remember, was considered a mythical, sacred animal even among the ancient Egyptians.

In the dwelling where the death occurred, the pets were immediately removed, isolated - so that the spirit of the deceased would not settle down to his pet.

The appearance of a cat in a cemetery is interpreted as follows:

  • if the cat lies on the grave or walks nearby, try to leave this place - most likely, there is a strong anomalous zone that destroys the human aura;
  • if the cat is black, then, perhaps, the witch went out for a walk, or it is the rushing soul of a sinner;
  • white cat - the soul of a righteous man who has not finished his journey on earth, warns of impending danger or illness;
  • if the cat just slipped past you into the cemetery - be calm - it's just someone's spirit came to look at a new friend, that is, at the one who is being buried.

In any case, treat the cat with respect - do not hit and do not drive it away, it is better to distract from yourself (if it is tied to you) with some gift.

❧ A good sign for a deceased person and his relatives is finding in the prepared grave of an old, earlier burial with whole bones. An old belief says that the deceased in the afterlife will find consolation and will not bother his relatives, appearing to them in dreams and hallucinations.

Numerous omens and superstitions to the people present at the cemetery are full of secrets that the souls of the dead want to convey to them. You may have seen, being at the burial ceremony of someone close, how the astral body leaves the corporeal shell that has become unnecessary. This happens at the moment when the first handful of earth touches the lid of the coffin. According to the sign, the soul takes off either laughing, or crying, grieving.

Cemeteries are supposed to be located south of the church; on the north side, only suicides and stillborn babies are buried.

The graves are dug in the direction from east to west, and the coffin with the body is laid with its feet to the east - according to legend, in order to make it easier to climb on the Day of Judgment.

Even not believing in omens, one should not violate the ethics of visiting places of mourning ... All the rituals associated with the deceased appeared for a reason and it is not for nothing that the people preserve their traditions.

The final resting places have always attracted attention, it is not surprising that cemetery superstitions are so numerous. What can the secret signs that otherworldly forces send us in a mournful place warn about? We understand the issue.

In the article:

Cemetery signs - what you can do

There are many superstitions associated with this place. All rules of conduct are required. You can not come empty-handed - bread and other treats, leave them at the grave.

Funeral alcohol

It is forbidden to go to the resting place of thousands of people drunk. It is also unacceptable to consume alcohol at a funeral.

Moreover, alcohol unties the tongue, and at the cemetery it is better to follow the words so as not to offend the deceased. For the repose of the soul, you will drink at the commemoration.

What should I say

There is such a sign:

Anything good you say at the grave will stay on it.

You can share your experiences and joys with deceased relatives, and you should not cause them envy or excessive pity. Because in one, and in another case, they will want to take the speaker to themselves. A phrase like "I live so badly, I'd rather die" can be fatal. The spirits will regard this as a call to action and “come to the rescue” of the sufferer who is so eager to get into the other world.

It must be remembered that you can only allow yourself to be open with a relative whom you trusted during life and with whom you were close. If you talk loudly and brag about your victories at someone else's grave, then all the good will go to the relatives of its inhabitant.

Refrain from sorting out the relationship and swearing among the graves. The sign says that whoever comes to the cemetery to quarrel will live in eternal showdowns.

Is it possible to take things from the grave

Of course not. Remember this rule yourself and explain it to your children: the house is the territory of the living, and everything that is in the cemetery belongs to this place. Taking anything from there is a very bad omen.

Bringing in graveyard land is like recognizing your home as part of a graveyard. For spirits, it will be "marked" as their sphere of influence. It will take the help of a very strong magician to clear the dwelling from the grave seal.

To lift something from the grave means to take this thing away from the dead man. And the departed are very jealous of what belongs to them.

Is it possible to count money in a cemetery

There is another well-known sign: if you count the money on the grave, you will part with it forever. Bills fell out - do not touch them. Let even a large amount lie.

If you raise money from the cemetery land, because of your carelessness and greed, you can make problems and diseases and spend much more money on their solution than you could have left.

I had to get a wallet at the cemetery - leave the coins on the grave. Better at the tombstone of a relative or at least a namesake.

Is it possible to be photographed in the cemetery

Most will say that it is impossible, since this is a place of accumulation of negative energy. The mystical connection between a person and his image in the photo is known - the imprint of all the negative of this place will remain in the picture.

If you imprint yourself in the realm of the dead, you will either attract them to yourself, or you yourself will soon go there.

It is especially rash to take a picture near the coffin with the deceased, as well as on graves under forty days old. It has long been known that this period is not accidental, that is how much negative energy is stored, which was released during the death of a person. The soul of the deceased is among the living, not finding peace. The consequences of such a photo can be disastrous - up to the appearance of serious diseases.

It is believed that the memories of this belief have been preserved from ancient times in the word "term". "Deadline" means that forty days have passed.

Taking photographs can disturb the souls of people buried in the graves that are in the frame. They will return to their home or visit the person who took the photo. In this case, it is quite possible to encounter.

The cemetery is used not only for the burial of the dead. This is one of the main places where black rituals are held. Here, they ask, and the witches are here. It is saturated with powerful negative information that will remain in the picture.

It doesn't matter if it's a paper photo or an electronic one. The second option is even worse, because digital images are easily copied. Don't post them on the Web.

Storing "dead" images is fraught with a deterioration in the atmosphere in the home, illness of household members and the appearance of problems in relationships, money issues and other aspects. Children especially suffer from such sources of negativity - they are more susceptible to magical attacks than adults.

If there are already similar photos in the house, and there is no desire to part with them, despite bad omens, keep them face down, so that the image cannot be seen. You can pack the source of the negative in a tight envelope.

Signs at funerals and cemeteries

Seeing off the last journey is a very serious event. :

  • stand not in black clothes, but in white or multi-colored;
  • talk loudly, show disrespect to the deceased;
  • take any things from the coffin (even if the deceased promised to give them during his lifetime);
  • tell stories that are not related to the topic of the event;
  • talk badly about the deceased;
  • wear open shoes (bare toes, heel).

To get rid of the negative energy of the place, you should take a bottle of holy water with you and wash your face, hands and feet at the exit. You can leave the cemetery only the way you came.

Sign - if fell into a cemetery

This sign indicates that the fallen person is being pulled towards the grave ground, and possibly him. Those who fell at the funeral need to urgently leave the cemetery. After that, over him you need to read the prayer three times " Our Father”, Wash with holy water and cross with a burning church candle.

If a monument fell in a cemetery

In this case, they say that it is the restless soul of the deceased who makes itself felt. If something keeps a person in this world, he will try to figure out what is the reason for the delay.

Perhaps the deceased has an unfinished mission, or he needs to protect relatives or friends from something - the spirit will try to contact them in every possible way. The fallen monument is a clear sign that the soul wants to be heard. You should seek help from a medium and find out what a relative needs.

A cat at a funeral is a bad omen

In ancient Egypt, cats were considered intermediaries between the living and the dead. According to legends, these animals could speak on behalf of the deceased and even temporarily serve as a haven for his soul.

There should be no pets in the room where the deceased is lying. This is especially true for cats. As soon as a misfortune happens, they need to be taken out of the house. And even better - send them to live with relatives for a while.

The cat rushes back - to a new deceased. It is especially dangerous if the animal lies down to sleep under the coffin with the deceased. This suggests that soon another grief will happen in the family.

It is better to drive off an animal that has joined the procession, but show respect to it. Do not kick or push - someone's spirit may come in his image. Throw aside a present, which you do not mind - pay off.

If a cat jumps on the deceased or the lid of the coffin, this portends the death of the deceased's closest person. In some countries, it is believed that this behavior of a cat indicates a terrible prediction in the form of a vampire or ghoul for the deceased.

Much also depends on the color of the cat met at the churchyard. Of course, signs pay special attention to black individuals. It is believed that in their appearance there may be a witch or a necromancer mage. According to ancient legends, they are the repositories of the souls of sinners. The white cat is the embodiment of a righteous man who has not completed some work in the world of the living. But meeting with him does not bode well, it is a sign of illness or serious danger.

You found on the grave of a deceased relative something that looks like a magical lining: coins, candles, parcels, bags, a bottle, a scarf on the fence, or something else. What does this mean and how should you react?

The lining on the grave is a fairly common thing. I am constantly receiving alarming letters about certain finds found on the graves of deceased relatives. Here is a standard example: "Hello, Vladimir Petrovich! We were at the cemetery, and on a birch tree next to the grave of the father-in-law they found a white cotton kerchief tied in a knot (these grandmothers like to wear them). Could you please tell me, is this a cause for concern?"

There is no reason for the author of the letter to worry. If the appearance of this scarf on the grave was of witchcraft origin (and, for sure, it is), a grave was simply selected that matched a number of signs (gender, name, age of the deceased, etc.). For example, in some magical ritual it could be said that after certain manipulations, a scarf tied with a knot should be left on the grave of a man with a name that matches the name of the object of witchcraft. Your father-in-law's grave met these criteria, that's all.

The vast majority of the strange finds on the graves have just such an origin. With the help of cemetery magic, they induce and remove damage, make love spells and lapels, provoke or treat ailments, solve the problem of alcoholism, etc. But, in any case, such things usually have nothing to do with the relatives of the deceased, on whose grave a magical lining was found. It was just that a grave was chosen that was suitable for some of the conditions of the ritual. For example, sometimes you need to do something on a grave located on the edge; at the grave where a man of such and such age is buried; at the grave where a woman with such and such a name is buried, etc. etc. In order for my readers to better understand the essence of such phenomena, I will give specific examples.

One of the methods of targeting damage to epilepsy is as follows: the attacker takes a certain number of chicken eggs to the grave where a person who had the same name as the victim of damage is buried. A special conspiracy is pronounced, then the eggs remain on the grave for a certain time. With the observance of special rules, eggs are taken from the grave and later given as food to a person destined for spoilage. Soon, the first epileptic seizure occurs with the unfortunate person. When the disease enters the chronic phase, the attacks intensify precisely by the day of the month when the described cemetery manipulations were performed. At the same time, the attacker, of course, is not at all interested in the relatives of the person buried in that very grave.

One of the love spell rituals is performed in a somewhat similar way. A photograph of a beloved person refers to the grave where a person of a similar age with the same name is buried. A number of manipulations are performed, special conspiracies are pronounced, and the victim of a love spell begins to experience mortal anguish without the object of his passion. If the relatives of the deceased "at the wrong time" visit his grave, they, of course, will find an extraneous photograph, remove it from the grave and, thus, this time they will thwart the intruder's plan, but they themselves will not suffer.

It should be noted that rituals of various directions are performed in cemeteries, knowledgeable people are not limited to black magic. The graves can be used in the treatment of various diseases (including all the same epilepsy), to rid a person of alcohol addiction, to relieve longing of love, etc. If you, having visited the grave of some of your relatives, suddenly find a bottle of vodka on it, this may mean that someone is being spoiled by alcoholism, or, on the contrary, they are trying to save someone from drunkenness.

Thus, if you find on the grave where your relative was buried, some foreign objects (coins, chicken eggs, photographs, etc.), you should not panic. Most likely, this witchcraft has nothing to do with you. Why am I writing "most likely"? The fact is that sometimes some kind of witchcraft lining on the graves is nevertheless addressed precisely to the relatives of the deceased. Such linings are usually found not at any arbitrary time, but on the eve of the memorial day, celebrated a week after Easter (the so-called "Red Hill"). Or some kind of death anniversary. That is, exactly when it is reasonable to expect relatives to visit the cemetery for cleaning or commemoration. For example, you might find chicken eggs, coins, or anything else that quantitatively matches the number of members in your family.

What should be done with such finds? Without touching the thing with your bare hands (use gloves, a bag, paper), you just need to remove it from the grave. But remember that direct contact with these things is highly undesirable, therefore, do not take them in your hands and do not step on them!

If, nevertheless, you have the feeling that you "hooked on something", or you reasonably assume that the lining was addressed specifically to you and your family members, click on the button below and write me a letter.

Probably, everyone had to witness the omens at the cemetery, which later came true. Definitely not to be overlooked are the signs that fate points to. It is necessary to own at least a few beliefs, and then you will know what can alert you and what should not be given importance.

They have special signs at funerals and at the cemetery:

  • You cannot bring natural or artificial flowers from the cemetery, otherwise you risk getting sick.
  • The same applies to any thing taken from there. Taking away, you can get other people's misfortunes.
  • It is better to put the deceased's favorite things in a coffin or bring to the grave, so that he does not come in a dream with requests to give.
  • It is also prohibited to eat or drink alcoholic beverages in the cemetery. Remembrance of the deceased with food is an ancient pagan rite that does not fit with Christian beliefs. Better serve to the poor and visit the temple, order for the deceased requiem. This way of honoring the dead is more acceptable and spiritually beneficial.
  • After the convoy, carrying the coffin box, they pour grain so that no one else from the family dies.
  • Meeting a funeral procession on the street, a passage in front of a riding hearse or people carrying power, promises danger and grief to the passer-by.
  • It happens that the coffin does not enter the prepared pit. In this case, they say that the land of the sinner refuses to accept, or there will be another dead person after the deceased.
  • On the contrary, it will be a good sign for a person who has passed away to find an old burial with whole bones in a prepared grave. Belief says that the deceased in the afterlife will find consolation and will not bother his relatives, coming to them in dreams and hallucinations.
  • You should not brag about your good life in the cemetery, otherwise you will leave luck here.
  • It is a bad omen to count money during a funeral, you will become a beggar. If the bills are accidentally taken out of your pocket, you will have to leave them here. It is possible on the grave of the one who was buried, or on the grave of a person with the same name as the owner of the money.

There are also traditions that are observed in the provinces. For example, when taking a coffin with a body out of the house for funeral service on a sled, the owner is supposed to look under the hooves of a horse harnessed to a cart or stick a needle without an ear into the clamp. This is only a small part of the existing ones.

The monument on the grave sagged or fell

The sign of a broken tombstone a priori cannot promise anything good. Provided that the monument has deteriorated without human intervention, then in the near future there will be another deceased in the family of the deceased.

It doesn't matter what damage the burial site received: whether the cross just broke, the tombstone cracked, or the earth subsided and a deep hole formed. Each change threatens the relatives of the person lying here with another death. However, you can understand to whom the old woman with a scythe will look next time, having determined from which side the earth has collapsed:

  • from the southern side - a man will die;
  • from the northern "fell" - a woman will die;
  • the eastern edge has subsided - an elderly family member will die;
  • from the west the land has gone - death will take a small child.

Speaking about the burial place, it should be noted that the graves of evil and sinful people are covered with bad grass: nettles, thistles, wolfberry. And where the righteous man is buried, lilies, forget-me-nots, hawthorn or roses grow.

Cat, dog in the cemetery - sign

The dead are able to transmit information through various animals and birds. No wonder birds in the old days were considered the embodiment of souls that had lost their human bodies. But the birds flying over the graveyard or the house where the deceased lies are not as dangerous as the cat, which was considered by the ancient Egyptians to be a mythical animal.

Here's what cat omens say:

  • Pets were removed from the dwelling where the death occurred for a while, so that the spirit of the deceased would not enter into his pet.
  • Which, laid down at the base of the coffin, shows that the deceased alone will not end the business, the bony one will take someone else.
  • Murka, who joined the funeral procession on the way to the churchyard, should be driven away. However, do this not with kicks, shouts, but with due respect, treating the fluffy escort with some food.
  • Do not worry when you see a cat sneaking past in the cemetery. It's just that someone's spirit came to see a new deceased friend.

Dog in the cemetery- a negative sign and omen, especially if it winds around the coffin. Lies under it - to another imminent death.

It used to be thought that the black dog in the cemetery was a rebellious ghoul or evil spirits. If a dog barks or howls during a funeral, it disturbs the spirits, calls them. In any case, dogs, which sense the subtle worlds, were always treated with caution, moved away from the animal, did not welcome him.

Sign if fell on the grave

Weak, impressionable natures, small children, poorly moving old people, etc.
Undoubtedly, to pay the last duty to the deceased and honor his memory by being present at the burial means to show the moral and ethical norm prescribed by society.

Only it will be completely out of place if such a person, having worried or stumbled, falls on the territory of the burial ground. Sudden death is destined for him. Even just stumbling, passing between the graves, means a warning about the negative impact received here.

The superstition advises a fallen person to immediately retire home, and then read the Our Father three times, bathe in holy water, light a church candle and cross himself with it.

The soul does not care where a loved one will remember about it. At the cemetery, in the temple, or in a conversation with family. The main thing is that it was sincere, and the memories were of a bright, kind character.

In a separate line, it is important to mention a common question: is it possible to be photographed in a cemetery. There are no signs as such, but pictures from the churchyard will not decorate a home album. But they can attract negativity to the monastery.

Is it possible to be photographed in the cemetery

Taking pictures against the background of many graves, you capture the invisible world of the spirits of the departed and otherworldly entities, which later will easily find their way to you.

Not only signs at funerals and cemeteries warn of mortal danger. Around any person living on the planet is full of signs indicating an unfavorable development of events or a threat to health. For example, a certain one is a messenger of trouble.

Only a few have the ability to read omens, although there is nothing difficult in learning. You just have to be moderately attentive and not forget your cultural heritage - folk signs left by ancestors for descendants are time-tested.

Over the 23 years of my work in the cemetery, I have often thought about why people sometimes make ridiculous mistakes when they come to the graves of their relatives and friends. While still a worker, I tried to explain to them the essence of these mistakes. This is not about church canons, omens, mysticism. It is better to talk about this with the clergy. I was more worried about the issues related to what I had to do every day. Namely: work on the improvement of burial sites and digging of graves.

Subsequently, when I became the head of the cemetery, people became more trusting in my advice. But, unfortunately, this often happened after certain actions had been taken, leading to not very good consequences, including the loss of large sums of money. Let's talk about the most common mistakes.

Trees near graves: friends or foes

Don't plant trees near graves. Firstly, the tree and its roots occupy the volume of the area allotted to you, and therefore will interfere with subsequent burials. Secondly, if a tree or its large branches fall due to wind, illness, damage to the root system when digging a grave, then the tombstone and fence standing on the grave of your relatives and neighbors can be damaged. Thirdly, the roots affect the already established monuments, raising their foundations. Fourth, most flowers planted at burial sites require sunlight, which the dense foliage discourages.

Therefore, if a tree is already growing next to the grave, then it is advisable to get rid of it faster. You should not try to do this chemically, or by removing part of the bark. This can lead to an uncontrolled fall of the tree, with all the ensuing consequences. Given the difficulties, it is better in such cases to resort to the services of climbers. But the stump can be removed by yourself, using special chemicals or salt for this.

Polyethylene: a way to protect or destroy

Do not wrap monuments with plastic for the winter. The reasoning that you are protecting the monument from the penetration of water into microcracks does not take into account the fact that condensation forms under the film. Droplets of the resulting moisture in sufficiently severe frosts will produce the same effect from which you were trying to protect yourself. If vases made of granite or marble are installed at the burial, then be sure to drain the water for the winter, for which there is usually a special hole. Then cover them on top to avoid further moisture ingress. Removable plastic vases just need to be removed.

Candles and lamps on the graves

Do not leave burning candles and oil lamps on graves after you leave. Even a slight gust of wind or a fallen branch can ignite artificial flowers or wreaths. It happens that it is impossible to read the inscription on a granite monument because of soot, and monuments made of granite-polymer under the influence of fire can be melted and completely destroyed. Sometimes neighboring burials also suffer.

A kiss forever

This tip is mainly for the ladies. Lovely women, do not kiss graphic portraits on monuments. The fat that is part of any lipstick instantly penetrates into the surface layer of the stone, leaving stains. In most cases, they can be removed with a colorless solvent, but unfortunately not always.

Extra sand is not good

Every year before Easter, sand is brought to the cemetery, which visitors can use free of charge. Do not try to cover the area adjacent to the grave with a very thick layer. Even taking into account that some of the sand will subsequently be washed away by rain, the annual addition leads to the fact that the base of the tombstones and flower beds will inevitably be sunk into the ground.
